Are you complaining because you're letting some AI control your character when you could be controlling them yourself? Hello?
I feel that this could be useful for the people who for some reason refuse to use things like the Back Palette or have limited buttons on their inputs for whatever reason alongside helping players who aren't so attuned to action games as a whole but still wanting a relatively easy entry into the game's combat.
I do think it is bizarre to use but I see it as being a relatively friendly (even if unoptimal) way of being able to play New Genesis with people who are more used to action games.
I am not here to argue, debate or discuss with anyone what you feel are the qualifications, lack thereof, merits or demerits of the function. I am saying it could use work if the intended goal was to absorb multiple other items functions to less populate the skills slots in New Genesis.
Plainly I am saying as an example that if possible the script should prioritize doing a normal attack to trigger counters in New Genesis (NG) if you've successfully just guarded with your weapon action and the function applies. Since it doesn't do this, now to access your counter attack after just guarding you have to give up something else to add normal attack back to your PA skill slot.
Ok, I need to respond to this..
We are on Steam Discussion area, of course there will be opinions and arguments (worse, insults). If you want to write a suggestiin this is not actually the place, support is where you should go( feedback and bug report). I don't think the devs read steam discussion. Not to mention as far as i know the main devs are Sega JP.
Next. Since I'm the one who mentioned Luster, yea it doesn't exist in NGS(yet?). But my point is "SimpleMovement" started from Luster's SmartPA, the thing that simplify Luster's decently complicated combos. The fact that they're technically the same thing us the reason why i mentioned luster.
You are exactly here for that. If the intent was for it to be as smart as where it can be competitive with people who learn their combos, then either simplified movement wouldn't exist at all or they would get rid of every other button that isn't simplified movement by default. There's no reason to have one or the other if they would lead to an equal result. If you could legally automate your entire rotation in WoW as well as a top parse raider, then there would be no point for the game to even have skills in the first place. It's nonsensical to expect this feature to become on par with manual gameplay, because it would invalidate a core feature of the game.
