How to use Salon Pass?

I have 2x Salon Pass, but every time I go to the salon and try to change my clothes, it tells me I need SG and Color Pass or "You can also use a Salon Pass purchased with AC." How do I use my Salon Pass? I can't use it from my inventory, and I don't see any option to turn it in at the salon NPC or inside the salon.

I also don't see Color Pass for sale anywhere in the AC Shop.

Salon pass is use to change character slider (body, face and hair color)
To change outfits color (base/outer/underwear) you need N-color change pass

Silly thing is you need a salon pass to change your hair color, but not to change your eyes. lol

You probably just misread it, changing clothing color is done in the salon but it takes a color change pass.
And color passes are harder to come by, they give them out as rewards for various things. If you manage to get one I suggest you save it for an outfit you really like.

Well that sucks. I don't even want to use these clothes I got from a scratch card if I can't change the color.

I got a single NGS color pass from somewhere so far, probably from a premium login bonus or something. I played the old PSO2 since it launched in NA and I ended up with like 10 of them total, so they're far and between.
Keep at it and you'll get one before long, should give you enough time to be sure you that really want to use the pass on the outfit.

I thought that was silly too but I think there thought process is that some eye patterns that you can swap around can change the color pretty drastically. Like I have one that I needed to increase the brightness to achieve the same color with its fade effect. So my guess originally it would of been Salon Pass but changed to free.

Yeah but changing your hair color is something people do every day, much easier than changing your eyes. lol
And hair color is a pretty basic feature that we may want to change for different looks.

Old color change pass from the base game allows to change colors in old cosmetics, new ones need the n-color change pass.

Where do i get the n-color change pass? I was told it's a scratch play reward but i don't see it as a reward on any of the banners.

Apparently it is rewarded after playing scratches a few times, not sure about that, another one is login rewards but only for premium users, sadly it seems to be given out only once per month.

You get them when you roll 15 and 40 times on Soldier Line, Wedding Celebration, Oracle Renewal Collection and Sweet Summer scratches.

Thanks a lot for explaining how i get what should be one of the most basic and easy things to get access to or at least figure out how to get. I swear to god i f'ing hate gacha systems.

Eh, most MMOs have the dyes system and that's usually a dumpster fire in it's own right.
And at least if you play the AC scratch you can sell/trade your leftovers, If we were stuck with dozens of copies of trash items then we'd have a problem. Eventually people will be selling more custom colored variants of cosmetics too, for a markup obviously.

SG scratches are a different matter tho, hopefully the NGS SG recycle badges are good for something eventually.
