Stupid request time: port Phantasy Star Nova to PC so that we can get ALL of the PSO2 content on a single supported platform
Phantasy Star Nova is in the same universe as PSO2, despite some significant gameplay differences. The reasoning for said gameplay differences are due to, plotwise, an Arks ship travelling to a planet with anti-photon properties, resulting in the ship crashing into the surface, and all of the survivors of the crash being forced to adapt to a complete lack of photons, and fighting creatures known as Gigants which absolutely dwarf anything in PSO2.

Sadly it was released on the Vita, a system well known for being absolutely hated by its creator, Sony. It never got localized (why would it? It's part of PSO2's universe, which didn't get localized until THIS GODFORSAKEN YEAR), so very few people outside of Japan have even heard of it, let alone played it. A PC port would give it a second chance at life, and maybe even could be linked to PSO2 in some way to allow your cosmetics to transfer over.

I know it's a lot to ask, but it'd be nice to see it released in North America, especially since there's currently no way to play it outside of on the Vita, a system which is so dead Sony pretends it doesn't exist.

If you have a PlayStation Vita and the game, there is an English patch so most of the game can be playable in English.

In terms of its actual gameplay, it is like a snapshot of how the game used to be during Episode 3 and Episode 4. I started it as my first Phantasy Star experience and liked it quite a bit but it is very hard to go back to after having played through Phantasy Star Online 2 with all of the changes they made afterwards. There are things I liked such as having the classes unlock skills that you can equip to a "Skill Board" so you can take aspects of other classes and combine them (such as equipping weapons from another class, equipping stances, using stat boosts, and the likes). However, the gameplay to me does not age well compared to how games like Monster Hunter would have (you can still play games like Monster Hunter Generations and walk over to Monster Hunter World and not feel so disoriented). Phantasy Star Nova was built with the original two-button control scheme in mind so you do not have access to three-button mode or its conveniences so all melee and ranged classes focus on the Photon Art Sequence (pressing the same button successively goes to the next attack in order) whereas the Force and techniques in general get to be used on-demand. However, you do spend time capturing large monsters and calling them up to fight enemies so that was pretty fun.

In terms of the overall story (no spoilers intended), Phantasy Star Nova is a completely isolated adventure that does not tie back in unlike the other sidestory games (Phantasy Star Online 2es and IDOLA Phantasy Star Saga).

I would much rather see that New Genesis takes a lot of ideas from Nova or perhaps addresses the events of Nova in some way because Phantasy Star Online 2 largely glosses over and doesn't acknowledge that Nova happened outside of bonus costumes and cosmetics.
