Thank you Sega for not allowing people to make child like characters

As a sane, and normal human here, i for one am extremely happy that Sega are not catering towards the shadier members of society.

Sure there are a few legit players that like to play as small characters for role play reasons, but they are in the minority. I find it totally baffling the amount of creepy people that write walls of texts getting triggered that Sega are not allowing the POTENTIAL for pedophilic avatars in their games.

Those who agree with me, thank you, you are a decent human being.

Those who have not played this game before also, you will quickly notice there is a very creepy audience that play it generally, you will often stumble upon fury avatars grinding with eachother in the lobbies and other areas, 99% of the playerbase are female avatars dressed in skimpy clothing etc. Yet ironically 99% of the people that are roleplaying sexual fantasies with eachother are all men LOL.

Just be warned that if you are not into that kind of thing, it will shock you at how seriously people try to live their RL lives through this game. It is basically a cosplay social simulator akin to Second Life. The gameplay is secondary

Straw man. Child porn isn't illegal because it depicts a crime being committed. Child porn is illegal because its consumption promotes the act. People don't commit crimes like murder or theft with the sole intent of distributing media of said crime.

I think we all know the internet is a weird place and people do bad things on it, sure while I hope that actual pedos would be a minority and less of an issue, sadly, that is not always the case. There is no way to know unless something happens but I've seen plenty screwed up people on games and discords/gaming communities. Personally I think censorship is bad in general but I think that there are some exceptions like the height slider to combat child like characters and people being creepy with such. Maybe it would turn out ok but I'm not fond of child like characters running about when most players are grown adults, I just find it weird.

I'm playing FF14 right now and I've seen plenty lalafells doing things they shouldn't. The age of them matters not, they look child like and its creepy when they do or say anything adult. I wish I could unsee the internet sometimes.
