2. No nudity is required. Did you honestly just say that? Do you think you can dry hump a toddler and post it online just because you're both wearing clothes? What in the actual hell... What a horribly stupid thing to say. I can't believe you just tried to make that argument.
3. Steam doesn't sell anything. Steam is a platform that allows others to sell their own products within a virtual marketplace. There are plenty of games that have been listed on Steam that were in violation of various laws. So blatantly in fact that no argument could be made against them and with enough reports, said listings are removed.
4. I've yet to see a major adult game released on Steam with questionable material that skirts western law that doesn't require a patch to remove censorship specific to the Steam platform. All of the character creator games have censorship.
While steam is more open with what it allows, i can easily see the day where even the most tame anime titles have some form of censorship in them. Hopefully ppl wont just roll over and accept defeat, as this goes further than just PSO2.
2. Experts have found that fictional pedophilia can act as a gateway that makes the viewer want the real thing.
3. At least you shot down this part of his argument. With that said, art is one of the exceptions to this law, which is why some games are permitted.
2. Good job putting words in my mouth. No, I said that nothing in PSO2 is even remotely in violation of any such laws. Try arguing against what was actually said instead of trying to paint your opponents in a dodgy light to win an argument.
3. Steam as a platform is still required to obey the law and take down anything that would violate the law, they made this clear when they brought in their new rules that explicitly allowed anything that wasn't "trolling" or "in violation of US law".
4. Evenicle. Go look it up. Or don't. It's not really relevant, since as already said, the content is far more extreme than anything in PSO2, which only a complete fool would consider in violation of American law for its sexual content when games like Senran Kagura can sexualise characters like Mirai without issue.
153cm is the minimum
thank you sega for applying this.
It's not an issue... for non pedos at least hahaha.
Pedophiles are the garbage of the planet- People who want unrestricted freedom on a creator because other versions allow it- is just commonsense. Freedom is good- less content is less good. More content is better than less in a game you may pay for.
I guess I gave steam forums way too much credit. I hope that when they try to use their toxic illogical arguments in-game that they'll be laughed out of the room by the veteran players who just enjoy playing the game and have since day 1. Which I am almost positive will be the case.
All games are art, so by your own logic...all games are permitted. Whether steam allows said games on their platform, is completely their decision, just as it would be Epic's/Sony's etc
Evenicle legal disclaimer:
https://www.gamegrin.com/assets/Uploads/_resampled/resizedimage640360-Disc2.jpg
The disclaimer states that all characters are intended to be 18. It also states that all sexual scenes are artistic in nature. It then goes on to say that it is your responsibility to "check to make sure this software does not violate your jurisdiction's laws." Confirming that they admit that some content in the game could be illegal depending on country of purchase, even if anyone can purchase it on Steam... Whoops.
I had enough of the pedo-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in Tera alone.
It's weird because "lolis" exist as NPCs and are sexualized in-game. So if you don't want to see them- you're better off not playing. Hell- even Matoi is 15 with her many outfits that show her ass and breasts. And she's pretty much the main character. Sarah- another main character is below minimum height that you can create characters as well- there's a scene where her clone says she's showing too much skin. And is she? Well maybe- perhaps you might need to take a step back just incase the sheer amount of underage npcs being sexualized ingame.
And don't watch the PSO2 anime either- there's an onsen scene where characters appear completely nude. That would cause you to blow up.
