Crimson Keys, so rare.

I have spent the better part of a few hours farming the crimson for a key. I mined out an area larger than my minimap, slapped down 100 crimson blocks to alter the biome. 10 platinum later, still no key. WTF?!

Seeing that biome keys are that rare, I'm getting anxious about my Coin Gun farming.

Funny. I have a Crimson key, but no chest for it. I made TEN WORLDS and used a world viewer on all of them (After exploring my 3 existing worlds for several hours first) to see if one would spawn, but it just won't.

I've gotten several biome keys. You can get my Vampire Knives, if you're interested. Never really used it anyway.

That's very strange. Make sure the worlds have Crimson biomes, or you'll end up with a corruption chest.

In the world viewer I was using, you can pick items and highlight them. Out of all the worlds (my main one of which having Crimson), none have it. I want the vampire knives because I'm doing expert mode and could use the occasional pick-me-up.

Have you checked if any of the worlds have Corruption chests? If there are no Crimson chests, then check if all your chests have been swapped, somehow.

Your world viewer... make sure to highlight LOCKED Crimson Chests.

As mentioned above, any crimson world should have one. I'm sure if you explored a bit more thoroughly you could find one easily.

I've never had a world that didn't have all 4 of it's biome chests and am fairly certain they're generated in every seed so I have no idea what you're doing wrong.

you are right. most definitely an oversight, error, or whatever. all four biomes will have their chest in the dungeon

Good luck in your search. Use events like blood moon or solar eclipse too
