Rocket boots not working with wings/mounts

Is anyone else finding that the rocket boots (when crafted into frostspark boots) do not work when using either mount (i only tried with unicorn) and with wings. Could this be a bug?

I don't know about mounts but, any jump modifiers like boots just increase you flight time with wings.

Only double jump accessories work while on a mount, and after getting off I assume the rocket boots don't work to prevent you from getting a lot of extra height by bailing off mounts such as the Slime.

The rocket boots don't work with wings by design (I think) so that you don't have to use the rocket boots which are harder to control before you switch to wings. Instead the rocket boots give a very nice +42% duration to the wings you have equipped.

Those items give no visual indication of working, but they do increase your Wings' flight time.
