People. People. Just let him do it and NO I not looking for inventory edits. I really enjoyed the update. I miserably failed on the moon lord not knowing to fight him with the nurse closer (the final pillar I destroyed was near the ocean lol). He just wants to try the AMAZING new stuff quicker so leave him be. I once wanted things quick but I learned. Also once you get the Daybreak or the Fetid Baghnakhs and combine it with the fastest melee speed possible. Amazing

No, You can't call him a cheater since inventoryeditor is probably made just for people to test all items but sure, u can cheat too.

Terrarsavr is the only one that "works" so far, but even it is slightly broken (you can't edit your created characters - you must make a new item mule character inside the tool and go put the stuff in chests manually).

I love how people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about this and yet, creative mode + /give command in minecraft and console commands + mods for skyrim are normal. Let the kid do what he wants he bought it so let him have fun his way.

Yup, what this guy above me said. Everyone is going crazy about this but when mc is adding creative everyone is like "yaay i can finaly build! yaay easy blablabla". They don't know what they want themlselfs

Okay, so as the suggested user for the cheat engine is Terrasavr, has anyone else had the problem of the fact that the .plr files cannot be found going Steamapps>common>Terraria?

That's because the .plr files aren't located in that directory. To get to the actual .plr files, follow these instructions: Go to /My Doctuments, then go to a folder titled My Games, once there, you should see a folder called "Terraria", click it. Now, in that folder, you should see a few files and couple folders, look for the folder titled "Players" and open it.

Congrats, you have located the .plr files for Terraria, happy editing!

Pretty much sums up just how shallow and impatient some people are, it honestly depresses me that people can't seem to grasp the finer points of a fun challenge. Oh well, at least me and friends are enjoying the hell out of 1.3, taking it slow and savouring every new thing. We're not even at hardmode yet on our Expert world and it's been more fun than I've had in years with Terraria.

But to each there own, cheating is rewarding to some I guess. It does kind of spit in the face of every player that works for their rewards, but the cheaters in question don't care so why should we?

Op, I hope you find your game breaking software asap and I hope it sucks every ounce of fun from this fantastic tribute update to all that Red and the team have done for their playerbase >FOR FREE<. I know it probably won't, but you definitely won't enjoy it half as much as me and my friends are and I know many others would agree with that sentiment.

I use TSGE, but it's not like: NEW ITEM! GAME SAVE (Expect Portal Gun :3) And just because we use gse, doesn't mean we can't have fun. Me and my friend (DeLaBlok) play in a 1.3 world where we demolished a few bosses yesterday. Legit :)

It could possibly be that they just want to build? a little bit like minecraft?
I prefer farming myself but the moment I finished the game (well you know killed the bosses etc) I like to edit my inventory aswell to start building- since you can't really farm some stuff since they are event stuff. So yeah I get your point, and agree with you. But its not always as it seems

@MisterMoustache Well i edited the web based one. the other one i did not. but you need to PAY FOR TSGE becouse the guy got pissed "noone is greatful for my work blabla" he created a server and ♥♥♥♥ hapend now he wants people to pay him for his work.
