Multiplayer as a Non-Steam Game
Well, I bought the game a long time ago from GOG and now that this update helps the multiplayer with steam... My question is, can I play with friends through steam?

Doubt it steam integration usually requires...ya know...steam.

But seriously if you try to join a friend on steam it Will say you don't own the game.

Yeah, but I was thinking on another way to join non-steam friends. But there aren't. Only making the server would work :/.

Oh no you shouldn't have a problem actually connecting to anyone if they know how to host and you know how to join the ip address. As far as I know if you are all running the same game version(1.3) you shouldn't have a problem. But I am not an expert I've only played over a local router with "host and play" I also don't know how to work hamachi.
