i was looking forward to this new update until it said no controller support

It isn't a new update, it is an old version of Terraria which lacks controller support along with all the other lacking features that are advertised.

If I'm on the go, I don't have much time to play terraria. I'd rather play something quick like splatoon 3. And I don't need a couch if my chair is actually good (and my keyboard is still wireless)

Then don't complain about controller support lol. This game wasn't designed for controller. kb/m just works better. And some games are the opposite.
