What type of bullet should i use for my megashark?

I have been using silver bullets since hardmode started. what type of bullet is reccomended for megashark?

Well, chlorophyte bullets are kinda lovely because they seek targets out. Otherwise you can use ilchor or cursed flame to make status effect bullets or crystals shards for crystal bullets.

Chlorophyte bullets are the go-to for the homing shots but I also like venom bullets for more damage if you want to aim

Megashark suffers from ichor bullet syndrome where its damage is slashed substantially without ichor bullets, crystal bullets are good in multiplayer as long as someone is constantly applying ichor, chlorophyte bullets are great against low armor enemies but suffer horribly against high armor, venom rounds have high base damage but with ichor the added 10 damage per shot will outdamage them, megashark is a great weapon for the other 2 mechs and plantera but seriously starts to suffer after that, replace it with the far better venus magnum if you want an automatic weapon again

Leave some inventory spaces open frequently for being able to separate bursts of 10 ichor bullets and 10 venom bullets in a pattern repeatedly, to constantly deal both of their damage and debuffs. Venom has high dmg for that point of game, ichor lowers defense.
