If slimes were real would you eat one?

What about texture? Do you think it would be like chewing on a tire, eating a gummy bear, eating jello, or like eating pudding?

I think the outside would be like a firm gummy bear but the inside would be some kind of thick soupy goodness

They are most likely made of some sort of corrosive digestive, acid-like substance, so it would probably kill you.

that line probably means that the slimes were trying to eat your face.

I think it will feel like I dunno, eating just frozen fat. Really gross, really slimey, and they don't seem to contain sugar aswell.

I'd image it's more like chewing on a thick layer of tough-as-all-hell jello followed by a loud bang as the slime's outer layer ruptures and the unfortunate being bursts, covering you in liquid with roughly the viscosity of water.

The gel itself is described as being "tasty" but the slimes themselves do damage by touch and are supposedly corrosive. Not sure if they would be edible.

I'm going to say the inside is liquid and turns into gel when it reacts with oxygen.

One thing though: Maybe the thing itself is tasty, but it being together(bound by magic or something?) adds a bit of intellegence to the slime, making it able to move its molecules around itself. Kinda like a random glove that is just a piece of cloth by itself, that then gets posessed by spooky ghosts.
