Calamity is to Terraria what Brutal Doom is to Doom.
Master mode is just that. A harder difficulty setting. It's not meant to be anything else. I'm so tired of hearing people complain about this.
"But it's lazy game design, it doesn't add what made expert mode great"
It doesn't need to. It works as a harder difficulty setting. Sure, it would be better with new ai and more useful drops, but it delivers on what a hard mode is supposed to, and that's all you could ask for.
I do think master mode could be better, but I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of seeing people whine about it.
I swear this is the only fanbase where the could developers spend years making a huge update with thousands of hours of content in it, and yet people still complain and claim that they're "lAzY".
It DOES need to. Specially if you consider terraria demographics, is people that is used to the next kind of worldbuilding: Doom and Werewolf apocalypse narrators, and the next kind of players: SNES/NEO GEO/GENESIS age and Call of Ctuhulu pen and paper game. This is not for the idiotic. comformist and simplistic millenials or god of war permatutorial-button mashing players. There is maybe one more reason why the only FPS i remember enjoying was Doom and why I also love terraria, probably is the fact that instead of just fattening NPCs to turn them into bullet sponges they gave them different perks or higher rates requiring more planning and quick action instead of just hide, run and shoot (which is probably the reason I don't like other FPS)
Guess why the "for the worthy" seed is being so popular now, however that's just ONE SEED, it needed to be the default Master mode, even if it is not happening is something we can all aggree that needed to be
