Blood Moon Every Night?

Every single night for the past in-game weeks have been blood moons. I am pre-hardmode, defeated every pre-hardmode boss and I am doing everything I want to before defeating WoF. I know that certain stats make EoC spawn a lot, so is there something that causes blood moons to occur until WoF is defeated? If not, why is this happening?

The chance of the Blood Moon occuring at night is just chance. We've all had something similar to this occur to us before, so it's not supposedly something to worry about.

A blood moon has a 1 in 9 chance of happening, so you're just unlucky I guess...



I one had the destroyer spawn during an eclipse...

I get it very commonly to have them 2-3, sometimes more nights in a row.

To take what has been said and give it a bit more simplicity, every night it calculates that 1/9 chance as long as there is a moon phase in play and you are above 120 health. It doesn't have a blood moon and then stop calculating.

When that happens I turn on my base defense and just walk away from the computer with a stronger summon out. Eclipse I actually get involved in.

but of course i got all my solar eclipses post moonlord rather than pre plantera :(

Chances of 7 Blood Moons in a row are 1 in...4.7 million? I think I did something wrong. Anyway, as said before, it's just bad luck.

Pre Hardmode, Blood Moons are easy to defend townies against. Sure the zombies can get through regular doors, but they still can't open trap doors, and you can rig actuator inset walls to a switch to make defensive barriers that can be toggled.
