Basically i wanna know if theres a tool i can use to move the default spawn. My world is modded so said tool has to not affect modded blocks and ore generation

Anyone know of any?

Person said default spawn a bed does not change default spawn. And there is a couple ways to change default spawn. You can use a tshock server, or a map editor such as tedit.

Finally lol. I mean no ill will to anyone else that commented but i figured it was obvious i was trying to change where a brand new player spawns, not where i spawn xD

Tedit had some issues last time i loaded a world with it. To be fair im fairly sure mines outdatd. Will it not hav any issues loading a world with mods? (Thorium, Spirit, and Calamity are the big ones i have installed)

Look up "Terraria mods" and on the wiki there will be a link to a forum full of player mods

Youll needta install TMod loader first though, but its basically an auto installer. TMod also allows you to browse mods with an ingame browser

I'm not sure honestly since I've never used mods at all. If it doesn't, I imagine that a workaround for it, might be to remove any of the non-vanilla furniture/items in the map, load up tedit, change the spawn, and then save the map and put back the mod stuff. That should hopefully set your default spawn and you won't have to deal with it afterwards.

seeing no one is helping you. there is a mod called " HERO's mod ". this mod allows you to change spawn points and add way points.

The main issue is less of a concern of furniture (iv built several hub locations in my world, all of which have modded furniture) and moreso about the ores generated with mods. Last time i tried this the file corrupted because Aerialite and Perrinial and such arent recognized. Coxy gave me the workaround i needed. Thank you very much for helping though, i appreciate it :D

Thank you very much. My worlds default spawn is like in the floor of my grand hall (literally in the floor) and i want it to be right in the middle. This should help loads
Also worth using a TP + Red Pressure Plate at spawn to make players go where you want to...

.... including the pre-Skeletron dungeon...

If it doesn't work, T-shock definitely will work. I'm pretty sure T-shock is mod friendly since it's server software rather than a mod.
