So I was attempting the wall of flesh, and I was DESTROYED by the hungry, so I was thinking a boomstick is the way to go. If u have an extra can I please have it.

if the hungry are bothering you get an inferno potion
should help a bit

beenades(like fallen darkness said)
boomstick/minishark with meteor bullets
waterbolt

inferno potions are super rare prehard, as only way to craft requires hardmode

I find them in chests all the time

According to the wiki the only chests they can be found in are shadow chests, so "all the time" is an exaggeration - they're rare. The only place where Inferno potions are common is in the Abyss in Calamity mod, where you can get them from pots.

Another way to kill WoF is with a Space Gun and Meteor Armor. Just switch to some other weapon and Molten Armor in hardmode, since the Meteor Armor has a low amount of defense.

yep. queen bee. also get the bees knees if ya come accross it while farming queen, and bee pack if ya are in exprert. those things can help a load xd

In Expert mode, the Hungry respawn as long as the Wall of Flesh is alive. - Terraria Wiki

If you're in normal mode you're fine.
