How to install Tmodloader manually?

I've been trying for around an hour now and I still can't get modloader to work.

1. Download tmodloader from there Terraria forums page.

2. Unzip the file somewhere

3. Click on the installer.

4. Now it is installed

do we have to copy the whole folder or no copy

this thread is old. Tmodloader is now a different instance of terraria, to prevent cross contamination of your unmodded and modded saves, big credit to the tmodloader guys.

as posted just above mine, you actually search 'tmodloader' in steam store and install it there directly. then launch 'tmodloader' to play modded terraria.
