2. Unzip the file somewhere
3. Click on the installer.
4. Now it is installed
Oops your right that’s how you update it >_<
1. Download TModLoader
2. Go to Documents > My Games > Terraria
(OPTIONAL) Back up everything inside of the Terraria folder somewhere if you want vanilla
3. Copy / paste everything from the TModLoader file in Downloads into the Terraria folder.
4. When it brings up the window about matching files, select replace all.
5. Launch Terraria and enjoy mods!
this thread is old. Tmodloader is now a different instance of terraria, to prevent cross contamination of your unmodded and modded saves, big credit to the tmodloader guys.
as posted just above mine, you actually search 'tmodloader' in steam store and install it there directly. then launch 'tmodloader' to play modded terraria.
