I cant find any hardmode ores

So i have a large world, 3 crimsons, and a little bit of hallow. So i defeated wof, went with my pwnhammer to all the 3 crimson biomes, smashed every altar i could find. And now i dont find any hardmode ores. I went underground, i didnt see a single ore.

How long has it been since you smashed the Altars?

Well, if yuo are just sticking to tunnels then thats why. I would use the miners potion (or something like that) and use that to find ores. That or its a world breaking glitch and yuo need to run now

idk. a hour ago i smashed them, and then i looked for ores, after i couldnt find any i played something else.

They take time to grow, just keep searching. Colbalt/Padallium and Mythril/Orichalcum spawns in caverns and Adamantite/Titanium spawns around the depth you start seeing Lava Pools.

Also the underground jungle almost always borders the Underworld so search till you find the jungle and look in the jungle for orchalium/ paladium/ adamantite they are quite common there. DO enough searching and yuoll get a buttload of ores

Souls of Night have a chance to be dropped by any enemy while in the Underground Corruption/Crimson.
