No ammo is consumed?

on every single gun i try, with every type of bullets, i have infinite ammo. i don't have any endless pouches or accessories that do that or anything, does anybody know how to fix this?

also, though it might sound like a good thing, if i wanted that i would just give myself 9999 of said ammo

i've checked all the cheat mods such as HERO's mod and cheat sheet but the game crashes every other time i join in the game so its hard

Infinity possibly? I don't know what it is specifically but when it's literally named the thing that you are complaining about it seems like a logical culprit

infinity adds infinite musket pouches and endless quivers for stuff other than the basic ammo, not makes everything directly infinite

disable half the mods if it persists then on of them was the culprit if not you know the remaining half are innocent. repeat with suspicious mods till you have narrowed it down. does that make sense/ help?

that helped! apparently the mod was "luiafk". of all the quality of life mods i had, of couse it had to be the biggest and best one...

Iirc, that mod hasn't updated in ages, and is causing a lot of issues right now with a lot of other mods. I also get that crashing issue that you get, which I wouldn't be surprised at all if it came from Luiafk. Either way, glad you found the culprit. The reason I don't remove it is the exact detail that you mentioned; very pact with QOL items.

looked up the mod, its basically unlimited stuff including ammo. did you just get a list of mods someone else made?

Now ask yourself... is Calamity a QoL mod?

the infinite ammo is actually a feature of the luiafk mod. a stack of 9999 (yes, you need a fourth 9 for that) arrows or bullets will count as infinite for the sake of QoL. There are infinite bullets for vanilla that you can craft and arrows too, but the only way to get infin bullets/arrows for mods if they don't have an infin version already is using luiafk and a stack increase mod.
