Does anyone know the best way to get the nazar? Im trying to make the Ankh Shield

That's indeed the hardest piece to obtain.

You can get it off of those small flying skulls in the Dungeon. They spawn less often post-Plantera, however, so you might want to go farm it in a new world.

People always say to get the Nazar from Cursed Skulls, which is indeed an option, however there is another.

If you are Post-Golem, the dungeon is crawling with deadly enemies, and makes it relatively hard to farm simply.
You might find it easier to hunt for the Nazar in the Hallowed biome, from the Enchanted Swords that fly around.
Same drop rate of 2% in Expert, 1% in Normal Mode.

I know of the enchanted swords, the cursed hammers, and the crimson axe, but I never seem to find them. I went to the dungeon and killed some cursed skulls but they never dropped any Nazors

Farm the dungeon in pre-hardmode. The Nazar is one of the few Ankh Shield components that drops before hardmode, and I've gotten tons of them just fighting off dungeon mobs while I try to fully explore the place.

1. get battle potions and water candle and go to dungeon. 2. dig out or find a deep or large room. 3. use traps to kill any dungeon mobs that dont drop nazar. 4.box yourself in with ravens (when the skulls charge at you the ravens will kill them when they enter the box, using summon that pass through walls will kill them off screen sometimes so u will likely miss them) just afk then.
(reccommend pre-hardmode dungeon so ectoplasm and paldins dont kill u)

i've gotten 3 golden keys from them though
