Are mods such as those cheating???
I want to know if using a mod which makes a check list of all the bosses you beat or a mod that show a boss' health bar is considered cheating?I started an expert playthrough with my friend and i want to use a health bar for bosses and a list that checks every boss you beat, but i don't want to cheat.I want to know if those kind of mods are considered cheating.:steamhappy:

i dont see how knowing what bosses you've killed, nor the bosses current hp always onscreen can be considered cheating...so no

It's not. If it is counted as cheating, damn, shame on you Re-Logic.

i doubt it, unless this mod has a button you press and bosses instantly die

Boss Checklist isn't cheating; It just tells you what order to fight bosses and how to summon them.

It's not, it's just a useful utility.
And even if it was - You won't get VAC banned if that's what you think... ;p

Absolutely not. It's cheating if you actually spawn in items or something. These are just useful. I use these to and I'm playing 4 content heavy mods at once and I use it just so I don't skip a boss. Health bars are also just nice to have. These aren't cheating in my opinion since I think these should actually be a thing in vanilla. Just for the beginners.

Some are. Cheat sheet, Hero's mod and some others are cheats basically.
