I haven't gotten the cap, my record for the beackstickball is 21, kinda gave up after a while, but you can buy a hat at the visitor centre. I think that's it.

You also can get a Sunhat from a dude standing on an island away from the main moutain. Help him grab the leftovers from the party people and you'll notice his hat. He'll offer to buy one. You can get it for 100 coins minimum, up to you to raise the price. :)
