Emma Died

Spoiler Alert for the Main Quest I guess.

Oh boy, I really didn't think this quest was actually timed - Or at least I thought it was a LOT of time - Imagine my surprise and annoyance when I figured out Emma just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dies if she goes into Labor.

Of course I reload a save and run up to the FEMA camp and I find out - She runs into the nearest building and the game wants you to bring people with a Medical Skill equaling up to 5 in to treat her.. Great!

Except FEMA doesn't respond AT ALL and you can't go into their buildings if they aren't yours! So I guess she's just dead?

Seriously, how do I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this? She won't come with me, I don't have enough Helicopter parts to fix the helicopter, and the FEMA camp leader said he didn't trust me 3 seasons ago so I walked away and only came back to check if his dialogue would repeat (It did) and the entire camp comically ignores her as she literally dies of childbirth in the helicopter security post.

Do I just let her die? I have this entire save going for the last couple of days and I really don't want to perform the save-game shuffle, reloading back HOURS just to jump through hoops to get this NPC in my camp.

In any case, I've stopped playing since this in order to figure out a way to make it cooperate, but sadly I'm out of options so I decided to ask if anybody else had these issues? I've searched Discussions but haven't found much, I'd hate to let it end this way!

Edit: I reloaded a save and yeah - The FEMA dude says "You have my attention but I can't trust the word of Outsiders over my own people", and Emma just straight up says she won't join me, even when she's actively dying of child labor - So I'm stumped.

U need to recruit her to ur camp first. Easiest way is kill cooper and paul powers. and use kelly to ask her to join u. the pregancy. u need 5 people with 5 star medic to get a successful birth

Oookay, how about a method that doesn't involve murdering and making enemies of the best equipped faction in the game?

Well u can sneak and assassinate them without getting seen. so no enemies

alternatively, build up a nice enough fort and have a good amount of your guys be friendly with Emma and she will be persuaded to stay with you

If you mean FEMA you will war with them sooner or later and you can make emma join your community if you ask emma to sabotage FEMA after that she will join you community. you just need to send the body of IS char to FEMA small outpost and the story continue.
