How to recruit Emma in the story mode without killing Paul or Cooper???? (Possible spoilers alert)

How to recruit Emma in the story mode without killing Paul or Cooper????

I have already built a big enough community, with lots of towers and people and campfire to fill up the quest bar fully, got her affinity and respect to max. She keeps telling me yeah she would like to join but she can't leave without her husband. I tried maxing her husband's affinity as well and asked him to join, he keeps saying his job here is too important.

I looked up online, saw someone said "After you find out about Emma and Paul in the "What's up Doc" quest and you tell Cooper about it, you can persuade Emma to leave him"

I tried doing the "What's up Doc" quest in different ways. Cooper always stubbornly thinks they had an affair (which is absolutely stupid, even if I knocked Paul out and stole his letter, there was never an option to give it to Cooper), it seems like the quest WANTS you to lie to Cooper, so that you can learn the interrogating skill (otherwise I couldnt find any other way to learn it).
And I never found the option to persuade Emma to leave Cooper no matter what. (Either tell Cooper the truth, and then he deny it and call you useless; or lie to him and refuse to kill Paul for him), Emma still never gives me the option to persuade her to leave Cooper.

The only time I could recruit Emma, was to assassinate Paul without being seen, then report to Cooper, and tell Emma that, now that Paul is gone, there is no way you can get a green card, then Emma and Cooper immediately joined (which is absolutely stupid, so now Cooper's job is not important anymore???????)

Can someone give me some help here?

You need to have 2 stealth and accept the quest from Cooper to find out if Emma is cheating. After taking the quest, go to Emma and ask her to join you. You will get the option to tell her that he thinks she is cheating. Regardless of if you have the community size, she will break up with Cooper. This way you never have to even talk to Paul, she dumps cooper and she can join your community.

From what i know that quest purposes is to get brain scanner not really about Emma join your community. You can make her join your community if your relationship good enough and make her help you when fight FEMA ( easiest way use Kelly to ask her help ). But i can be wrong because i kill Paul for brain scanner.

I have 5 Stealth (stacked up by using Camo equipments and the book) and accepted the quest from Cooper.
And no I do not have the option to tell her that Cooper thinks she is cheating at all!!!
Is the mission bugged?! When will I get the option to tell her that he thinks she is cheating? Is it straight away? After I do the quest? Before I do the quest? I tried different things already but never had the option to tell her that. Hell, I even tried lying to Cooper and says yeah they were cheating on you, and I still cannot ask her to join my community.
My relationship with her is already maxed out and she still says she cant leave her husband.
And I do not want to kill Paul as I already have 2 brain scanners and a lot of materials and gold, I dont need that.

After accepting the quest I went straight to Emma without even confronting Paul.

It was about 3 days ago and now another playthrough, about 2 hours ago, I took the quest from cooper went straight to Emma and it let me tell her that he was suspicious of her.

you are not using any mods or anything? (Im not, and Im on 223/224 publicbeta build)

The dialog option to tell Emma "Turns out Cooper pulled some strings to get your green pass delayed" is only available if you asked Cooper a specific question ("Are you the reason she was denied a place on the chopper?") while getting the quest from him, and you can only do that with the Cynical personality trait.

So you can get her to join you by assassinating Cooper or assassinating Paul. Hmm maybe I need to make this one a bit easier or at least explain it better.

EDIT - but also she can join you later as part of Kelly's plan to take out the FEMA comms tower
