Check your community status , it will list the recommended # of outhouses for your community . Don't sweat it , I had plenty of outhouses but immediately after recruiting ONE survivor everyone was complaining about my camp's hygiene so I built another and everyone was happy .

Maybe Bob can include bath house in the future (just extra details) and it will factor into the hygiene score and possibly morale boost. One thing I do like to see in the game is that heater should be inside all the buildings in your base. It means if they're freezing up, they can go inside the building to not only escape the cold but to warm up also.

Even if they're in the wild and they got into a building in the town, let's assuming for a moment they found something to light up to create a fire to warm themselves up. So there's no reason for you to be freezing when you're inside a house in the base camp or the fact that your body temperature remains the same as if you were outside.

It makes no sense to have to go outside to warm up to the fire as the only option. I'm sure even a barn would have a fireplace for you to warm up. The old log cabin got a nice chime. As you know where there's a chime, there's a fireplace to burn something to warm you up.

So how does this translate to the game code?

If (inside building or building in the base)
(body temperature steadily rise up until reaching 37 degrees)

Or have a mess hall building where the Cook can make better food and where people can eat at a table.

You guys sound like you're trying to rebuild civilization . I'd settle for a picnic table - less wood and only a construction level 2 needed to build .:steamhappy:

That's the idea. My leader will be the one to father most of the children. He'll be swimming in ♥♥♥♥♥. You know it's because of the PC b.s., we don't have more sexual content in survival games. We know damn well that in a zombie apocalypse anything goes. It means women will do what it takes to survive including turning to prostitution. It's called the oldest profession for a reason.

For whatever reason, killing/slaughtering people is alright but showing a little skin (OH NO THE SKY FALLING!" Sexual content is a bad influence (lol). "wE mustn't allow it in video games." "wE mUSt PoTeCt tHe cHildReN!"

Some folks need to chill out and just let games be games. If you really need your game to be that realistic maybe you're missing out on actual life, and fortunately life isn't a caveman recreation of running around clubbing and raping people. Some have evolved beyond that.

Really!? "Evolved" beyond what exactly. The world literally ends. Rules of society doesn't apply here anymore. if a movie or game was to portray about such a scenario then it should reflect that to a certain extend. I'm just pointing out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up part about society at large. Extreme violent is ok but as soon as anything that is remotely sexual in a game, then they treat it like the sky has fallen.

I'm currently running a female character that was randomly generated ( her name is Cheyenne ) and since I have a " thing " for girls with western/cowboy themed names I figured , okay let's run with it . As I have built up my base and recruited members I have discovered that the proportion of men to women is like 3 to one so I reckon the guys are having a field day ( although only one of the male NPCs has expressed any interest in the female members of the group . ) As for showing skin , Cheyenne showed absolutely no modesty when out harvesting ore with one of the men to drop trou and take a pee . Makes me wonder what would happen if she started walking around camp in her skivvies . I don't play simulation games for the interpersonal relationships ( aside from the " I think you are cool " or " I consider you my best friend " thing although I did enjoy the buffs you got to XP in Fallout 4 when sleeping with a romantic interest as well as some of the dialogue that came up before and after . Don't need a level of detail beyond that - heck I got aggravated at Glenn and Maggie during Season 3 of TWD when they decided to make whoopie while they were supposed to be on guard duty . It would suck being butt-nekkid and your weapon is in the next room when those raiders drop by to pipe bomb your walls . ;)

neo_crimson17 does have an interesting concept though - imagine having a pregnant NPC in your group and the unborn child carries IS . I doubt the gaming community is ready for such moral issues in escapist gaming .

Since you brought up The Walking Dead, Negan got himself several wives. I recall one of them already got a husband and she doesn't want to but feel it's necessary to cast him aside and be one of Negan's wives.

In another post apocalyptic scenario from Mad Max, the weirdo/fat-fugly leader to a bunch of raiders/mutants(?), he got a lot of good looking wives. They're disgusted by his personality and appearance but nevertheless to survive, they sleep with him.

The point being is that society norms are no longer a thing. I haven't see any game developers out there who have the balls to GO ALL IN and show us the nitty gritty details.
Show us the full extend of the sexual/violent nature of an a post-apocalyptic world.

I recall playing Fall Out 3 where they have slavers (including sex slaves), human trafficking is a thing but the even then they toned it down. Cannibalism is a thing in that game. They don't fully show it in a game.

Fallout New Vegas did have Beatrice the Ghoul Cowgirl Dominatrix and Fisto the Sex Robot both of whom offered some interesting dialogue exchanges but as you said they didn't go " all in " with nitty gritty details . My take on that is the gaming community as a whole doesn't want that . I have seen mods available for certain games where they provide more comprehensive additions to the more degenerate side of humanity but imagine the market for such content is very very small . End of the day the developer is going to create content and devote resources to the aspects of the game with the broadest appeal to the largest audience .
