There are sliders at the bottom of the World tab when you start a new game that can increase the number of those patches.
yo Bob, How's it going, dude? Hope game sales are good so you can continue doing what you're doing.
I started a new game, took over a looter camp that had no mine (it was the first camp I found and I killed them on day 1). I finally built a mine in the camp and everything is "poor"...stone, lead, flint, iron...all poor. Do these things improve as the miners dig deeper?
So tell me peoples, how do you choose locations for bases now that the mining mechanic is the way it is? It almost seems like I need to destroy clans one at a time until I find someone with a good mine, then take over that town. Either that or I have to get so much money at start of game that I can buy a mineral map and then choose where to place the base. I've already put up the chain fence and wood fence. Guess I have to start with mine first and then figure out whether it is worth it to stay in that location.
Good grief.
When the wanderer takes over AI's camp again, I can't trade mining rights because there is no such option
