A small request from a player without a scroll wheel

Legendary game, yet my mouse lacks one legendary feature which is a scroll wheel.

I managed to rebind basically the scroll down and up option to up and down arrows, yet every time I approach a person and bring my hand from the mouse to arrows to choose the option, I gotta return it back to the mouse to left click to select.

Basically its a cycle to constantly go from arrows, reach the mouse for left click. Having a conversation in my case is rather tedious.

Would be grand if there would be an option to also either /add/ or rebind the left click that you use to select a certain talking line.
Maybe enter, or space.

Def would make it much more comfortable

check your keyboard if it have a scroll compartment, it should have unless it is from the 80's era.

main issue is that in the game currently the only way to select a speech option, is to press left click.
So moving the hand from keyboard to mouse just to advance one click in dialogue is quite the wrist workout

Space does work. I would suggest you just buy a new mouse though.

space works to select a specific line to say?
not the skipping dialogue

Yes, I often use it to skip dialogue and have accidentally clicked it too fast and selected dialogue, try it.

It also works as a select in the item menus.

You will still have to use your keyboard to select the specific dialogue as you are already doing but space can be used to select instead of left click.

You dont understand my point
I know you can skip dialogue. But you cant actually CHOOSE the dialogue option you want with space and enter, forcing me to return back to mouse to click.

it goes like this,
you approach a person, go to arrows to pick the dialogue option you want to say, then go to left mouse button to select it, then back to space bar to skip the dialogue (aka make it a bit go faster), then you go to arrows again, and left click.
thats how a conversation goes in such case.

you cant select a dialogue using space or enter, only left click. the menu even says that to you, showing a left mouse button

Hmm, you are right, this was awhile ago and like I said I had done it on accident so maybe it was just some sort of glitch. Anyways I just messed around with the settings and it was easy enough to change it, space didn't work probably because it was already assigned, but T worked fine, I'm sure you could mess around with it and change things around if space or enter is what you want.

I've checked the settings, there's no option to reassign anything the Select Dialogue button which is set to LMB.
Tried the options I thought they were, it wasn't that.
That's why I made this thread

Did you manage to bind a button to actual Pick a dialogue from the options? Just like the left mouse button is by default?
If so, which one was it?

Main action, it is set to mouse0 (left click) in positive, you can change it to a different key or even keep it as is and set it to alt positive.

Yeah, i've already tried main action change.
it changes the actual ingame function, but sadly not in the dialogue window

dialogue window still insists on left mouse button, rebinding doesnt affect it.

Which did you set it in? Positive will show the actual button in the dialogue, alt positive will still show the mouse left click (assuming you left positive on default) either will work though. I tested it I know it works.
