A gang of raiders came to kill me and take my stuff. I subdued them and only a girl was left over begging me not to kill her. I forced her to join me and work for me. She hated me every day but did her work, and did it well. She was a great cook. The group expanded and she would tell everyone of them I killed her friends. It took forever but I won her over by taking care of her, giving her gifts, and being kind to her. The other girls in the group got jealous about the relationship that was growing between my survivor and the looter girl. They secretly complained about her behind her back and even physically assaulted her.
She wanted to be with my survivor but there was something she didn't have the heart to do in order to move on with her life. She wanted me to find her ex's body so that he could have a proper burial. His body was located in a very dangerous town thick with the infected. We geared up and went to retrieve his body, but when we got there a group of people were fighting the infected. We joined in to help them and once the infected were dead, I went over to talk to them and realized that her boyfriend wasn't dead. She yelled to them "Hey, I have an easy target here!" and they all attacked me, even the girl I worked so hard to change. It was a setup and I barely escaped.
I plan to go back to kill them all. This game is amazing!
Yea, I guess your survivor's girl didn't secretly hate him. Have you ever had an issue with the console development window not closing? I know this isn't the topic to ask, but I'm hoping it's just something simple I'm missing.
Yes. You won't be to able ESC out because the active cursor for an item quantity is still running, I'll give you an example ....
Let's say you wanted to add gold. You proceed to the equipment spawner and scroll down to gold. You don't want 1 gold so you click on the quantity box to change the gold amount by typing it in, and then click the GOLD button to spawn the gold. You'll note the cursor in the gold box is still flashing, so if you try to hit ESC it won't close the window, you have to click anywhere to stop the cursor from flashing in the quantity box and then ESC back out.
Yea, it turned out to be the controller. Very bizarre error that wouldn't go anywhere. Thanks!
