White strain?
So I just started playing this, I'm at day 24 and i had 3 white strains rush me in middle of the night. i had been killing looters nearby so I'm guessing it was likely them. But I turned off invisible strain at the start to learn the game first so i shouldn't be seeing these things right?

white strain is not invisible strain. Invisible strain is infection where the infected will appear and act like normal human until it is actually triggered.

Thus, white strain appears normally in-game even with invisible strain disabled. Just take it as a stronger version similar to red strain.

In the case of invisible strain the zombie do not have a strain indication, it remains part of the it old faction, a white strain do have a indication of "white strain" indicated. Invisible strain usually start showing up around day 50 earliest.

I have seen the IS earlier, if you aggravate the npc enough (shoot them). I have seen the trader turn on me when I wanted his supplies. He was showing a brain scan of at least 50%. I shot him in the legs .... arggggghhh! ... Needless to say, I reloaded last save ... :P

Same thing happened to me, and I trusted them... They said something along the lines of "Now its our turn to rule the world" then tried to kill me. Luckily, only one was inside the gates.

Imagine you used the poisoned pot or bottle of soup but invisible strain meat?

that would just make an entire community IS wouldnt it? do communities turn when all the members have IS or do they need to be aggrevated/"excited"?

Good question. If some intrepid experimenter wishes to try some lab conditions to find out what kind of apocalypse happens as a result of this it'd be interesting to know. ;)
