All clothes are damped all of the sudden... how to dry them?
I am currently hiding inside a house, and I think the clothes are drying themselves. But I don't know...

Is the blue progress bar on clothes items/icons represents how wet they are?

I think so. It sort of inversely scales with the max amount of insulation the item offers. stay indoors, or stay near campfire ... while it is not raining/snowing, of course.

Sit at campfire it's the best way to dry them fast. If you have spare damp clothes in your backpack you have to wear them to get them dry at campfire.

Yea, I noticed that damp clothes in backpack always stay damped... I would have assumed they would dry over time. I kept extra pair of clothes, in case I needed to wear something dry.

Except the lack of ways to dry damp clothes right now, really interesting how the seasons can influence our game... In summer, if the clothes were not damp, I would be running around with nothing except underwear... and still have too much insulation because I didn't feel as comfortable taking off the boots...

yeah just sit at the fire for a bit to dry off. working in the rain or "heavy snow" will make your clothes damp.

i was wondering why i would find colonists just idle in houses.

i know the effect insulation in cold, lack insulation will freeze but so far never encounter in summer with full insulation, will they get heated?

From the dev: over insulation will affect fatigue efficiency, though it may be too slight to be noticed most of the time

I've noticed that only worn clothes will dry out. Doesn't make sense why clothes won't dry by leaving them inside a building or something.

This is right. Stored clothes won't dry.
As everyone knows we are in beta (it's not 1.0!) and I guess (This is something I rly hope for) we will be able after full launch to upgrade our buildings with either stoves, furmiture or stuff like that.
That way clothes only will dry in buildings with stoves inside.
But this is just guessing. Bob hasen't stated anything like this but like the smart guy he is and with all the love that is put inside this game there's a chance we will have something like this.

the devs should let us build a clothes line :P
