It had horrible unfun gameplay and a rushed ending. The nice art couldn't make up for that and I regretted my purchase.

I don't think I've ever cried so much at the end of a game before. The emotional story line and the gorgeous art style pulled me in and am so glad it did. This is a game to remember.

This is a beautiful game, well written game. It's not a challenging game, but one more focused on story and atmosphere. However, if you currently can't be patient I would have to tell you to wait to play this game. The movement is not very fast, and sometimes you have to back a fair amount through places you've already explored, so I got very frustrated and impatient during these sections, even though the world I traveled across was beautiful and interesting. I felt like the designers were truly making me resonate with the feelings of Mo. It was so annoying.

Also if you are in it for the axolotl-otter I'm gonna warn you and say it's presence in this game just barely makes mascot character level

Absolutely spectacular visually. This game looks absolutely beautiful, like a french animated movie or a comic book. The plot is okay, even if it's laid on thick at some points.

The game play however, oh the game play. I haven't played in something so soul killing and mind numbing in a long time. It consist of walking from a narrator monologue to another monologue, during which the game is paused and you cannot move. The platforming is boring, badly made and all together unpleasant to go through. The challenges are repetitive if not all the same. Every time you crouch you're stuck in few-seconds animation at the beginning and at the end, unable to move and having to watch it over and over every time. And that's only one thing of many.
The beautiful backgrounds do little to distract you from the fact that you're sitting still doing nothing and watching almost nothing.

All in all this game should have been a movie or a comic book. It doesn't have any qualities one looks for in a game. There is neither a choice nor an engaging and challenging game play. We are simply taken on a ride and told to do tasks over which we have no control. And this would've been much more pleasant and valuable in a different media form.

Beautiful game. A little repetitive at times, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Sorry devs, but this really inexcusable in the current age of gaming. I can't use the arrow keys. I'm sure you've got a decent game here, but if you won't let me experience it I can't recommend it.

Good game, the art work, soundtrack and story are well executed, just keep in mind that the gameplay feels more like an interactive narration than anything else, i am completely ok with that, as it makes for a relaxing and laid back experience, if you expect a platformer full of action, challenging puzzles and complex mechanics.. this is not it.

pretty cool little game :) very pretty and at times heavy on graphics resources, but cool!
quite slow paced and very easy difficulty once you get used to the mechanics (which is quite quick), so if thats not your jam, i wouldnt recommend it
i like the story tho! not sure if i like the ending (just felt a little rushed), but overall quite fun :)

I played the demo of this game before it was launched and I remember being intrigued and excited to play it and waiting for the release.

Finally got around to playing it a few weeks ago, and all of that initial excitement was gone. All of the gameplay I experienced the demo, that was it. There was no additional 'power ups', mechanics, nothing new. The gameplay was so unbelievably repetitive, it made me lose my patience. The speed was definitely set on low to prolong the time it took to finish the game.

Visually, it was beautiful, I was amazed at the effort that was put into the art. But fair warning, there is a fair bit of gory details at times, so be cautious if that's not your thing.

Story-wise, the game just didn't manage to make me care for the character, and I'm not entirely sure why. I got most of the plot, I was left with one big question:
Why did the 4 siblings stop working in the first place?. The fact that this question remained unanswered for me as I was playing, made me feel annoyed, as this was the trigger of the start of the game, and I was left wondering "but why?" throughout the entire gameplay. This, combined with the pacing, made it so that as I was progressing through the story, the feeling of grief for Mo and what she was going through was overshadowed by a feeling of "OMG, can we hurry the f up already??"

Overall, a dissapointing experience.
