Stuck at the start of 8. Whitespace

So, I awake in the backrooms of Somnasculpt, with models of the buildings sitting on a table, beneath a white board. I've watched playthroughs, where people just enlarge the small somnasculpt facility, then enter that and bring it back down to its original size. After that, the back of the building right to it should open up and be enterable, when you go back through the portal again and are small enough to actually enter.

This door does not open for me, though.

I've tried resetting to checkpoint and replaying the level before it, fully, as well, as verifying my game files.

Please help!

That door opens up after you have completed the game at least once. The way to move on and complete the game is to go through the Somnasculpt door, then grab the building again and try to take it back through the portal you came through.
