Have you tried Maquette? It's more about recursion, but was still fun. The story's a bit... not that great, but you can ignore that.

There's a game called Recursed that does the recursive stuff really well. Really bad graphics/really excellent puzzles. I liked it a lot more than Superliminal but they don't really have anything in common besides the recursive puzzles. Oh, and another good one is Patrick's Parabox.
