Could I create two different profiles to play for me and my brother?

Could I create two different profiles to play for me and my brother? I wanna confirm this before I purchase !

As the title! Could I create two different profiles to play for me and my brother?
I hope the different profiles will have different save files for each profile. So if my brother is playing on his profile and when I want to play, I can simply go on my own different profile and my brother's game will be saved where he left off .

The save files are per Windows account. If you guys share the same computer but have different user profiles, you should be fine. If you guys play on the same windows account and same Steam account, you are unable to create different save game files for separate progress. Chapter progress is saved, though, and can be selected from the main menu. Each chapter shouldn't take more than 30 minutes to go through, so you guys could just remember which chapter you were at when you switch.

Having 2 separate Steam accounts with a family-shared library and 2 separate Windows user profiles would ultimately be the best solution for games like this and any other games that may not have separate save game files going forward.

look into 'steam family sharing'. trust me
