Broke all Sabu statues - got nothing?

Is this supposed to happen? I thought you were supposed to get something for this.

Yes I'm 100% sure that all 25 of them have been found and completely broken. I even found a guide online and double-checked all of them with that as a reference.

Is it because I found them as different characters? Given how enemy scaling seems to be I like to swap characters every now and again so they stay relatively even.

It's possible you mashed through the popup. Are you now in possession of two matching mystery charms? The reward should have been whatever charm you did not already have.

Beyond that it should be fine if you swapped characters but did it on one file. That stuff is saved per file, not character... at least to my knowledge. I have no personal knowledge of the mechanics.

Check to see if you got the relevant cheevo, it doesn't pop during the game but you should check your Steam cheevos list after exiting the game to see if it got registered as you getting it

Nope, just the charm I got for beating the final boss. I even got the achievement, but no second charm.

The problem is I broke all the statues but still didn't get one of the two charms. Might be a bug.

Whatever, I enjoy this game so I have no issue with just starting over again.

On the contrary, I got charm II but cannot unlock smash statue achievement

You definitely missed one somewhere... The problem with the game is that you can't check to see how many you broke already. So yeah you're missing one.

I did the same thing on NG+ with the cats, I was following some dingles guide and it was so unbearable to watch I was skipping around and skipped right over one cat in the middle of the game in the toy district on top of a fence.

By the time I got to the end I only had 24/25 cats and had to systematically go back through the video to figure out which one I had missed.

I haven't come across any game breaking bugs in this game so far, so it's probably just you not paying attention while following the guide.

I would follow a text guide instead of a video guide because personally, video guides are cancer to watch, especially when the person making the video likes to be long winded for the sake of making their video longer.

Here's the ♥♥♥♥ video I used for the cats but this persons video sucks though.... They collects the cats out of order, so don't pay attention to which number it shows when the player grabs a cat, instead watch the top of the screen for the barely visible white text that tells you which cat # their on.

I am definitely sure I didnt miss a statue, even got the achievement. But I did not get the charm.. Kinda bummed, to say the least.

And yes, I painstakingly went back to check on every statue: All of them were smashed..

I have the secret boss achievement but not the statues one... Don't know what happened

This part of the game is really broken. I was given a medallion, but not given the achievement.
I think I'll have to start a second playthrough and do it again.
