i like the game but i think you should be able to be a male instead of only a girl it makes alot of boys not wanna play it cas they don't wanna be a girl

This game has absolutely outrageous prices especially for a game marketed towards children. I'm really grossed out over the fact that it's $80.00 for VIP, nearly $80.00 for the Fantasy Chest, and $50.00 for the high level Fantasy Horses.

This is extremely predatory. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves.

The most baffling part of all of this is that the game itself is extremely bugged. I tried to harvest things and nothing happened. The game isn't even worth investing such a huge sum into.

This is a massive "no" from me. All I wanted was some funny screenshots and I left kind of angry over how disgusting the financial aspects were.

I don't know why I even downloaded this, it's for kids but also it's not because it's infested with microtransactions which prey on kids and their parents' wallets. This is unacceptable! Avoid!

Of all the horse games i've played as a 20 something adult, this one is probably one of the better ones. It is a very simple game but very hard if you never plan on spending any real money. There is quite a bit of grinding which if you like that sort of thing makes hours go by. The horses move pretty well compared to some games i've seen. It is a bit buggy at times, where it takes money i've earned and bugs out and then i lose that money. The overall gameplay is for kids, but it's not so much so that an adult can't enjoy it. I really do enjoy this game and i think it's a great way to pass the time.

Ok, first off, you have to understand two things about this game: it's an iOS port, and it's aimed at little girls who love horses. You take care of horses, you dress up your horses, you race your horses, you take your horses jumping, you tame wild horses, and you have a rudimentary crafting system. You move on Steam like you'd expect, WASD moves, mouse controls the view. You perform various actions by clicking or using E. You take your horse to competitions, and mostly just hold down the mouse button to prepare your horse to jump the appropriate amount on a meter over a bar. You can craft items to equip to your horse to get score boosts. What you wear as you do challenges can tip you from one to two, or even three stars which gets you more money. You have to craft these items, and around the little adorable map you start off in is scattered not quite enough resources that take too long to harvest.
But wait! You also need to craft new hay, and horseshoe picks so you can keep your horse clean, and happy. So you have to balance where those resources you gather goes. You want to get more horses for different stats to do the best in the various activities, but you have to balance taking care of them, and having enough gold to get into competitions. This is all well and good, but the crafting is extremely shallow. You have to get stone, cotton, and wood for everything no matter what it is. It could have been made easier if your leather bridle didn't need 52 stone to create along with 52 wood, and 52 cotton.
It's fun to do the races, and competitions, for what it is. You can even drift in the time trial races across the map. That's honestly the highlight of the game. If it had much more of that, much less slowly using a pickaxe to get cotton, I'd actually really have fun with the game.

The pros of this game are as follows:
1.) It's free
2.) It's not that big, and is *mostly* runs fine (I'll get to the minor glitches, trust me)
3.) You do, indeed, race the horses, which is the best part
4.) It has slightly more depth than your average IOS games aimed at little girls

The Cons of the games:
1.) Not enough of the fun parts
2.) your slow harvesting sometimes is even slower because it'll glitch out, and you'll have to restart the entire thing because you're performing the animation, but making no actual progress harvesting anything
3.) it's a VERY slow process to gain gold, and it'll take a LOT of time of doing boring things to make any kind of process

In conclusion, it's ok, but I really don't suggest this game unless you're really into watching horses get cleaned.

I was bored and therefor decided to try this. BUT this game isn't worth my OR your time. And I will tell you why.

Positive:
+the music isn't bad
+the graphic could be worse
+the idea of taming horses, level them, do races etc. isn't bad
+quicktime events in championships, most people don't like quicktime events, I put it under posivite, because the controls without quicktime are worse in this game... (see below)

Negative:
-the controls are more than just bad, the camera doesn't center behind you, which is especially annoying when playing on a laptop, and the steering in the riding arena (cross country) feels like you're riding on ice
-the farming is annoying, you spend like 80-90% of the game farming materials, 5% caring for your horses, and only 5% you're truly riding
-the farming only goes with button smashing, I tried holding the key, but that doesn't work
-everything is MUCH too expensive.. taming a normal horse gives you like 200+ gold. the first stable costs you like 600 gold, but the higher ranked one already costs 3500 (and of course you need the higher ranked stable for higher ranked horses), that's nearly the sixfold of the first stable... also the championships take around 500-600 gold to enter, therefore you have to farm a lot to tame horses to even get to take a race. and what does the race offer you as a prize? no, not more gold than you spend to participate... apples (to level up your horse)
-there are also bugs when farming or taming
-all horses have the same models, just different colours
-hours of time wasted for farming, because everything is so expensive
-pay 2 win at its best

I already got bored at the beginning of the game, even though I don't lack patience, but if I don't see a reason in what I'm doing, I get bored really quickly. And this game didn't give me a good reason. So I decided to play until I reached level 7, because that was the level needed to unlock the area across the river. I hoped, I would get to a larger area with more to do, but uh-uh.. just more space for building stables there, but nothing interesting. Strangely there were some players who had a higher level than the level 7 I aimed for to end the game. Seems some people find this interesting, but I guess you do that, if you don't know any better games and are bored to death.

If you want to play some good horse games, try the "Pippa Funnell" series or "My Riding Stables: Life with Horses" (also here on Steam) or just download "Star Stable Online". All these games are way more fun and don't waste your time. I would even call them educational (in contrast to this game here).

They barely care about the pc version. Only the mobile version gets updated which really sucks. For me, my mobile cant really handle that game without lag, and im not really into playing on mobile either.

Do your thing and give the pc players updates too!

Very cute horses and animations, but incredibly grindy and aggressively monetized. Horrible interface/controls due to it being a low effort mobile port.

If you're at all interested in this, it probably makes more sense to play it on mobile.

I really really really wanted to like this game. I did. As someone who wants a game to give Star Stable a run for their money, this game seemed like it had the potential.

However,

-The game has bugged out quests, making you redo things like competitions that cost a lot of gold
-Very repetitive gameplay (Care, craft, compete, repeat)
-Far too many resources required
-Harvesting mechanic is a pain in the butt and not at all engaging
-In 4k Depth of field is ridiculous and turns back on for some reason
-The world has far too much of an orange theme
-VIP is 80 dollars. And all currency can be bought for a similarly outrageous price

Overall if you love horses and enjoy spending hours and hours grinding then this is your game. But for someone who wants to showcase the game this makes me absolutely despise it.
