Is the game is inspired by Rayman 2?
I can clearly tell the art style is quite reminecient of Rayman 2 and it's a pretty wonderful game to take inspiration from

yeah, but how good is Raymond 2? I only played one 2d game, and I liked it, This Black Betty Level is still stuck head.

Take it with a grain of salt however is my all time fav childhood 3D platformer, i recommend the Dreamcast version or the PS2 release

Actually either the dreamcast or pc version, the ps2 version is a remake and the ps1 version is cut as hell and adds some new content in some places.
EDIT: The N64 version is just worse PC port.

PS1 is a pretty mixed port and personally not recommend playing it but yeah the reason i recommend the PS2 version is being like a quirky ground up remake with lots of interesting changes (Some good, some bad) for a interesting experience like the dreamcast and PC port
