Game Save progress does not sync?

I was playing on Deck and suddenly I wanted to play it on Windows 10. But the PC game has no previous game save. I tried to launch the game on Deck and saw "cloud in sync". So why the PC version does not have this progress?

I've seen this in other games like https://store.steampowered.com/app/585420/ and I don't know why. My guess is that unless set by the developers, Steam will keep separate saves between both versions.

There are other games like https://store.steampowered.com/app/1321440/Cassette_Beasts where it works fine out of the box.

Very often, Linux and Windows cloud saves are not compatible. Try forcing the Deck version to use Proton instead of Steam Linux Runtime; that will force it to download and run the Windows version of the game, whose saves will almost certainly be synced to your Windows desktop.

its under home .config in linux/deck.
