You can speed run the game in Monster Mode and almost do the same as Dark Knight. The former lets you fly and break blocks, and the latter has a high jump and special attack that travels through the walls and triggers the mage and rogue's switch types (what slows him down is he cannot break blocks). If you know the shortcuts, you can get to the top floor with the base HP and attack upgrades. Just remember to get the elevator key in case the final boss proves to be too hard, and you need to make a beeline towards the accessible attack upgrades in the dungeon.
The final secret unlocks a short cut scene.
I wouldn't recommend trying to unlock it now if you've been burned out by the main quest mode. Better to wait for some quality of life patches to make the game less tedious.
With this out of the way, I guess the only thing remaining are the 3 hidden achievements. Though, that's only if they're related to ultra hidden in-game lore or content and not something ultra tedious like completing the main quest with zero upgrades or dying more than the one time.
This was super helpful. I admittedly did not play with Arias that much in my main playthrough, so did not realize just how useful/how many projectiles were able to be reflected (eg the black knight's lightning??). Took me a few hours but handily beat boss rush w magic sword, blood chalice, sol amulet, and a trash fourth item. final phase of boss almost got me just bc i had never spent *that much time fighting him* to see his patterns, but thanks to chalice and a bit of rng was able to wait it out and get it done.
The final cutscene... isn't worth it. Two characters, in a place unrelated to the current story, one of the characters is someone we've never seen looks like a smaller version of the FLS false gorgon beasts holding an item we've never seen that the other character recognizes as a threat, and makes a demand that we don't hear. Even if there was an Astalon Part Three that explained it, it's not worth the hassle. Do boss rush for the chalenge and the steam achievement.
