Can you try verifying your local files through Steam? and/or uninstall and reinstall the game? To verify the files through Steam you can right click on the game and then Properties...->Local Files->Verify Integrity of game files.

If it doesn't work let me know, I might be able to see what's wrong by transfering your files over here and testing them out. We haven't had another report like yours so maybe it's something very specific, I can take a look.

I have the same problem, but I found the cause. Player.log has the following text:

For some reason, the first time you launch the game, SaveBackup folder is created, but MySave folder is not. Natir's advice helps. If you use options/game/delete all data, then the game creates new MySave folder and after that it starts without problems. Including option/video start worked.

According to this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FEIfyrkNw8), my map is at 100% completion. I fullscreened the video and overlayed it with my map, alt-tabbing between the two to check for differences, of which there were none. I have also obtained 100% items (as of the new update, which revealed the location of the last key for me in a pot). However, both my map completion and item completion are stuck at 99%. My bestiary is the only thing I have been able to get to 100% completion.

[EDIT] There is no bug. I had simply missed a room. Incredible how many times I looked at my map and other people's maps without noticing this.

I'm sorry about that bug... but hold on a little bit because it's fixed and your save isn't broken! Switch patches are a bit slower to process through Nintendo, but that fix should arrive in a patch soon!

Well I got the patch 1.0.5 on Switch AND I still can´t continue the game, the door after dual heart miniboss stays closed. Do I wait for another patch or re-start my +17h save file?

In my current play session, I seem to have gotten three consecutive "Rest" cutscenes in what I suspect is the exact opposite of the intended order:

* First, Algus mentioning to his companions that he has a theory regarding how he can escape his bargain with Epimetheus (they already know about the bargain)
* Second, Algus confessing to his companions about the deal in the first place
* Third, Algus mentioning that he knows a way to use orbs to make his companions stronger, but won't specify how

The first two are definitely the wrong way 'round; I'm not sure about the third one's intended placement, but it strikes me as incongruous that he'd be coy about what he's doing with the orbs if he'd already confessed about the bargain.

Just adding that the bugged room in the Ruins of Ash with the two hearts is still bugged on the Switch, for anyone searching for a solution. Nothing can be done but starting over or waiting for a patch.

Don't know if this one was already reported, but the achievements related to the bestiary didn't work for me (except the one linked to the full bestiary completion), trying to complete the 100% achievements but I don't know if there is any solution to repair this bug

I finished the half of the enemys but didnt get the achievement for 20% of them

Same as above, I'm missing 4 mobs and still don't have the 20% (or any other) on steam.
