A Guide Thread

Too bad this awesome game hasn't attracted much attention and hence you find very few guides and info on website. During my walkthrough I struggled with some items but I managed to sort them out by examining some videos frame by frame, which was disastrously exhausting.

I just finished the game with all items and almost 100% map, so I personally want to help those who struggle with some specific item. If you share the same experience. Post if you have any questions and I will try my best to answer.

In my playthrough I only purchased these 2 once just to know what they were about.. :( But seems TreasureCat answered your question :)

Death Wish can be bought as many times as you want I think, I only tried 10 ranks, but Inner Fire can only be bought 7 times.

Just found the spot where the story of the war between kings goes. But im not sure if im doing it right, or what its purpose is, and its driving me bananas. Like its gotta be worth more than just a quick way to the other side of the area right?

This is a hint to a teleporters puzzle further in the tower.

Yes, thats the puzzle im talking about. Does it really only just teleport you to the other side of the area? I kinda expected more from such an elaborate puzzle :T

More than a few shortcuts border on meaningless, at least for the main game, but become quite vital in Black Knight / Monster mode.

Thats what i was thinking.. so i guess i'll see when i get there.
Speaking of the black knight, im playing through that right now, i accidentally used his lightning... walll. ability and i cant seem to do it again is there some sort of special button combination needed or something?. Also is there a reason to get soul orbs?

As far as I know, there's absolutely no reason to collect Soul Orbs in either Black Knight or Monster mode. If a reason exists, it eluded me entirely.

after maxing everything else i tried to buy all the death wishes. hadn't bought one before. got up to 21 and started digging for the max. so i guess i goofed since they don't stack and therefore will probably go on indefinitely. bummer
