But the good news is, this is not the type of game where you'd likely spend a huge amount of time in one particular game, so you're not out hours and hours of work. Unless you're way up there in the tens of thousands of points (which may not even be possible.)
I saw a screen shot of a player with 25 thousand points. Yikes! I just finished my fourth game, with scores of 754, 974, 1140 (the one that was borked), and just now, 4168 points. Place was #2510. Not bad!
There is a learning curve, but I can see hitting 10K easily, once you start saving areas for things that will drop two or three waves later. Gotta plan s*** out.
@LotusBlade You can place hop fields on sand. Overlapping buildings sounds like a bug. Oops. :D
I didn't run out of space. I had to use sand for last, and only piece I had, but here was only a very, very small piece of sand already taken. I was stuck. Couldn't place the last piece, and I only needed 5 points to progress to the next set of pieces. I had to quit the game. Shame, really, as I am still learning, and this was the best game I had to that point, at 1140.. I have since gotten well over four thousand. My next game, actually.
