Start game and it will ask you to reset or load your progress, at least it worked for me.

Did you ate your pumpkin seeds and cannot finish the objective?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Just FYI I did this and encountered a lot of errors on my 2nd playthrough;

Sometimes building structure will dissapear/reappear based on what existed on the old save ( For example I had my original base up high the first time, so random doors/walls showed up while building my base low the 2nd time.

**My Dogs glitched out - they duplicate/merge/disappear when trying to move them in and out of the kennel. I have a screenshot of it, I lost my Kelpie and it duplicated my husky over the German Shepard and Kelpie ( they all have the same stats and glitch out when trying to walk around and won't actually attack anything )

I think this might have something to do with errors from the Steam folder keeping data from your original play ( For example, I deleted com_survivalstudio and then reinstalled the game but even though I was level 1, the steam folder showed user data up to level 30 )

I tried unsyncing to cloud and numerous other workarounds but each time I restart I start to encounter more and more glitches the longer I play ( usually within the first 1-2 hours ).

The safest way I was able to restart was by creating a new user on my PC and playing from there. The new user has a clean/fresh steam user save which I think is keeping me from encountering all the glitches previously.

Thanks Ocnuybear, ^_^ it worked gr8 for me. And perfectly specific. Had a little issue at first finding the right folders that contained the AppData and LocalLow, but once I made the window show also hidden files, it didn't take me 2 long to find them. And I was able to delete it and restart the game again. Which is extremely helpful in the event that a kid you are watching gets a hold of your laptop that you use it on, and starts screwing with your game. NEVER AGAIN!! [# >_<] But seriously, though. It's nice to start over and rework my way back to building the shelter etc... (^_^)b Thanks again.

For Mac, remove ~/Library/Application Support/com.catstudio.wastelandsurvival directory.
And start game again.

You should only delete all files within the save folders located within the aforesaid directory. The path (for PC) is provided in this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1044200/discussions/0/1681441347880708150/
Delete all files in the subfolders named "save" and "save2"

As mentioned above, you may need to fiddle hide settings and/or admin perms to find the bloody thing. Good luck.

For the record, I've reset half a dozen times using this method with none of the problems mentioned by others. I would think that if you're to delete the entire folder it's best to uninstall/reinstall. I suspect that on any system, deleting the folders themselves without uninstalling would mess up the file paths registered in the install, among other things.

YMMV

Click Start or tap the window key and type or paste in,
%APPDATA%\..\LocalLow
and delete the com_survivalstudio dir, (not the com.survivalstudio)
Start game and it will ask you to reset or load your progress
