Lost Shelter 13 Key

So I looted Coach's house for the shelter 13 key, tried to pick it up and it disappeared. Went to shelter 13, tried to see if there was a key i could put in. Nope. Tried closing out of game and letting it sit for a few hours. Nope. Tried going back after letting it sit and seeing if the key respawned. Nope. Help?

I'd like to do that, but that is way more rng related than I'd like. If that's the only location that guarantees a key spawn, then I find it kinda annoying that this glitch, or whatever it is, removes that option for me.

You can find the card to the shelter 13 in Coach's home for the first time;
And if you lost it by accident, you can try to search it in the forest, mine or hunting area.
The truth is that the card won't be there anytime.
It's all about chances!

Well, I guess that means i'm going hunting for chances. But the problem is I lost it because the second I clicked on it in the container in Coach's home, it just disappeared. I didn't even have time to switch it over to my inventory.

I cannot find the shelter 13 key card I had the same problem but I been looking in all the areas that I have unlocked but I still can't find it

I got a key from shelter 13 once but it disapeared from my inventory and i had nothing telling me someone robbed my house while i was away

I found mine in one of the chests in the partial structure outside the main house (toward middle of left edge, iirc). I didn't mess with the main house (yet), and there were no hostiles present.

Took it straight over to Shelter 13 and opened the gate, not wanting to risk losing the thing after reading this thread. No worries there either, but I had to return to home base before venturing inside.

WRT the "chance" keycard drops those may be in the intermediate zones, e.g. Standard Mine, Lush Forest etc. I had one drop in the latter just today. (Mine hadn't disappeared, I had already used the one from Coach to open the gate and loot the outer zone.
