Zombie Waves in particular have me baffled. I figured out how the 24 hr count works but can't discern any pattern in the composition of each wave.
The first few days are fine, it seems almost a week went by before I started seeing Needlers and Coneheads or the like. Then it was a Floater (or two, I only saw one) with a Spitter and the next day a Butcher. One more Butcher, then 2 Floaters. So what's next, two Butchers?
WRT Z-wave behavior, being absent from base appears to result in less damage than if one stays to fight. So far I've been online each time and make at least some attacks on the horde. With these latest waves I end up fleeing the base with the Butchers, but the Floaters are manageable with preparation (i.e. tons of spikes and bows, I'm stingy with firearm ammo). The "spoils" reward for each wave has varied widely. Is there a correlation between how much one fights and the resultant reward?
That should give you enough to work with ... lol. Seriously though, I'd appreciate any tips you (or others) may kindly provide.
I typically get a red cap, 1-4 yellows and a bunch of greens (one wave gave 32 greens!!). Since I'm not spending money, these are important.
Congratulations on beating that beast. How'd you do it?
