i play on a recliner in front of my tv, so a controller is best for me, and i love rts. i have sup com 2 on my 360, but the controls dont feel right... i hope they eventually figure out the best way to do a gamepad rts

i play on a recliner to... its called... a "lap desk"... i basicly took a plank of wood sanded it down to the size i wanted and rubed it with a finish tadaaa a serface that fits right in your lap costom made by yourself for yourself and your mouse and keybord will enjoy it... if u want to use a gamepad go grab a console like the other morons

Rabid is right, he was looking for an answer, not for being mocked.
I also like to play games with controller in big picture mode. Universe at war was released for the XBOX 360 so there has to be controller support. Unless Microsoft once again forced the publisher to exclusively provide controller support for the XBOX only and not for any other platform. Yes, Microsoft does ♥♥♥♥ like this.

PC gamers have been asking that same question about FPSs, it's stupid how game devs think that it's possible to make console FPSs and RTSs.

The steam controller using track pads instead of joysticks completely solves the problems of the lag time difference in what you can do with a joystick controller compared to a keyboard and mouse. In the case of the joystick controller when you're holding right then to go left you MUST first return to zero and then begin to pull the joystick to the left repeat that over and over and it adds up. However with a mouse the second the mouse stops moving it is automaticly at zero. It would be like if you could teleport your finger and the joystick to the other side without having to spend the time moving it there. The track pad controller idea would even that out.

That aside this is a good game I think it just didn't want to recognize my razer controller is all it was.

I grabbed this game a few years back when I heard it was an RTS on PC with controller support. I haven't been able to get my USB Xbox 360 controller to work with it as of yet. Has anyone here been able to get it working? Will you share your tips with me?

Tip 1: Play this on a Keyboard and mouse, seriously, like FPSs this should go without saying, i mean it's a PC genere.

Sigh. This game was developed for Xbox 360 at the same time as PC. (The 360 version can even play with the PC version.) Controller support was part of development.
