Grass Texture Pop-In Issue

Hi all,

I'm having a major grass texture pop-in/pop-out issue. Grass & flower textures randomly pop in & out, sometimes related to turning the camera. It's not draw distance, as it happens all around me at random times. Some zones seem worse than others.

I've tried tweaking all my graphics, anti-aliasing, and other settings, including re-install on SSD. Also tried limiting to 60hz on my Dell G-Sync. Nothing seems to work. Any help appreciated!

Same here.....is there nobody in here who have a solution to solve this problem? Maybe it has to do something with the new patch?

Thanks for reporting this! I'll forward it to our programmers. In the mean time, could verify that you are using the latest drivers for your graphics cards, and reply if that fixed it (sometimes driver versions might give odd behaviors like this).

i had also this idea with the driver update last night. So i looked about it and there was a newer one. I installed it and tried again. It seemed to help. The gras was everywere like it should. Today i was also playing the game for some hours. At the beginning all was ok with the grass texture. After about one hour of playing the problem starts again. At this point, however, the texture problem was no longer as pronounced as it was before. Not all of the gras and flowers disappears....sometimes only a few stains were gone. Then i walked a little bit, turned around and the gras showed up again. This happens from time to time in all zones i´ve visited today. All I can say is that the driver update brought an improvement, but unfortunately the problem has not completely gone away. That´s all what i found out at the moment.

Thanks for the response! I fully updated GeForce drivers at first as well but it didn't seem to help much. I've just gotten used to playing with the pop-in. It still appears better or worse in some areas of the world.

The same here. Absolute strong grass popups and dissappearing over large areas around Hue when moving camera around...Also the clouds dissappear suddenly when day becomes night and at morning they appear suddenly. The extreme grass pop ups unfortunately change the overall appearance of the environment very strongly. I stopped playing until it was patched, because then you completely miss the real beauty of this game world

I just lowered my resolution the problem stopped, haven't try going back to 4K though to see if it starts again. Lowered down to 1440p. Hope they can fix it though.

same here with the grass pop in. just got the game noticed it right away. seems like a cool game reminds me of fable in some ways. but the pop in for grass is quiet annoying. drivers are (up to date)

This also happened to me. It's already 2021 and I have my graphics driver always updated.

It's high time this was fixed. It's easy enough to reproduce, and there must be a solution. Maybe it's Unity, or something else Twirlbound uses, but they really need to isolate the problem, and if it's not them, then pressure the developers of the system causing the problem to fix it.

nobody seems to care. thank god i got it for free just wish I could get back the few hours i put into this...
