no way to increase network rank?

i finally got a team together capable of beating the super buffed npcs in the network battles, but i don't seem to get any ranking points for doing so? what's the point then? and i guess if anyone wants to battle... comment? my schedule varies wildly but lately i'm online between midnight and noon (so all am hours) EST.

Just wanted to let you know that people dont really do PVP in this game because it was horribly balanced for it. It broke down to everyone using the same Teams and Counter Teams, so the scene died rather quickly.

I never did any of it myself as I am not a PvP person, but early on those that did were complaining about it. I am sure if you dig through the Forums far back enough you might find a list, or just do a Google Search and you might find it. Its been so long since anyone talked about it that I dont remember.

It all happened in a short period of time after release since once people realized it broke down to using the same set ups people lost interest and it died. Every now and again new Players will get on asking about PVP, but quickly learn its dead.

eh, it doesn't matter to me if OTHER people aren't doing it anymore, my friends and i can still enjoy it. i was just confused about why you could do rank battles with npcs if it didn't affect your rank. the other kinds of battles work fine for coins, after all.

So you can "Test" your team without taking much risk, if any. I might also be so people who dont want to PVP can still try it.

i'm down to play a match or two if you want! just tell me what level (rookie, champion, etc) your team is and i'll limit myself to that to make it interesting.

PVP in this is like playing minesweeper at this point.

I love this game and being able to use 2 Imperialdramon dragon or fighter seemed to be the standard last time I played, plus "insert heal support" could be sp or hp, increased attack defense. It's just the same thing over and over again. You either get lucky because there is a 2,3,2 and 5 blocks left.

If you play minesweeper you will understand. Next thing I can think of is king and rook vs king and rook.

other than marineangemon, what other SP support are there? @@

and IDK, from what I'm seeing of the current (probably cause the meta slaves left the game) the online has been pretty diverse in team comps.... though people do tend to use royal knights a lot
