Very good, I took my time and explored and it took about 6 hours. It's a story and puzzle game, so not a lot left after you finish the game. The story, writing, voice acting, audio, and vibes are all top notch!

I absolutely loved this game. The story is compelling, the score is beautiful, and the visuals are stunning! The puzzles were challenging enough that I had to look up some hints.

Fun little game that fans of H.P. Lovecraft will certainly enjoy. Great for the casual gamer who likes puzzles. Story is engaging, but not overbearing at about 6 hours of gameplay. Great for filling a quiet Saturday.

A fun, chill little point-and-click adventure puzzle game. The story kept me interested, and the voice acting for the main character (provided by Cissy Jones) is top-notch. Straight exploration and puzzle solving with no combat or stealth sections.

I'd rate the puzzles as fairly easy - requiring some reasoning, but all necessary clues are pretty easy to find. Once you finish the game, there's a chapter selection menu if you want to go achievement hunting.

Absolutely majestic game, never felt so much saddness playing this wonderful adventure, the atmospere of the game and the Eldritch gods (Dagon, Cthu'lhu, Yogg-Sathoth) is just perfect, a tip of the hat to Cissy Jones for wonderful VA. Must play for everyone who likes and admires the romance of ocean and depth. 9.5/10

beautiful puzzle game

I really liked how thoughtful the writing was, the voice-acting was great, and the story line was excellent. The multiple endings are top-notch and left me with a satisfied feeling of having NOT wasted my time but instead spent it on an spectacular journey with puzzles that were just the right amount of difficulty that I think most would consider them challenging without going over into brute-forcing puzzles or just plain out boring the player with mundane, easy, puzzles either. I LOVE that this game doesn't have a big 'ol "HINTS" button, taking up 1/3 of the screen.....(I'm looking at you Big Fish games and all the others that have HINT buttons....)

Bottom line; This game is well thought out, extraordinarily beautiful, meaningful and is definitely worth the price!

A charming and enjoyable game! I was drawn in by the premise--a 1930's-era narrative puzzle game set in the South Pacific--and stuck around for what turned out to be a captivating, visually stunning and surprisingly bittersweet experience.

While the entire game is a very solid piece of work, the visuals and sound design are what stuck out to me the most. The colors are vibrant (both above and below water) and perfectly convey the otherworldly, dream-like ambiance that hangs over the story. They add a layer of whimsy and mystery to the environment which doesn't go unnoticed. The sound design, both the OST and the ambient sounds, perfectly accompanied the visuals and set the tone for the various stages of Norah's journey.

The puzzles weren't overly complicated and thus didn't take away from the overall focus on the storytelling and navigating from one stage of the story to another. I felt that they fit logically into the narrative and created a seamless experience.

Overall, I found the story engaging and I enjoyed the Lovecraftian elements sprinkled throughout, as well as the overarching story of the relationship between Norah and her husband. The multiple threads of the narrative worked well together, overlapped in ways that made perfect sense and wove a beautiful tapestry of love, exploration, and what it means to decide your own fate.

I am pleased to have stumbled across Call of the Sea, and recommend that anyone who is a fan of narrative puzzle games take the leap and dive in.
