Can't select things/go down a ladder

I'm having trouble in the game where it is a challenge to select some items to work with them. Sometimes I have to wait a certain amount of time and click very fast when the icons show itself. Right now I can't get down the rope bridge in Chapter 2.

I have this same issue! I have had at least 2 story puzzles where I have to continually click to try and "catch" the icon to click the item. I don't know if the hit box is way too small or what, but I hope the devs fix it. Otherwise the game is frustrating to play

Same issue. I resolved it by reducing definition

A thing that i noticed, if you go too close to a "click-spot" it will move to the side and out of your vision. Back up! 8-)

I think it is actually us that are moving to the side, when we are not facing quite square at the dot and move forward. But it looks like the dot is moving and can be confusing. In this game running over the spot does not work, you need to stand back and click.
